Precision
Every component must contribute to repeatable, predictable performance.
The Baryonyx Field System
A complete hunting setup developed through extensive testing, practical field experience and continuous evaluation in demanding Norwegian conditions.
Explore the systemOne system. No compromise.
Baryonyx selects every component exclusively on the basis of quality, precision, reliability and suitability for the hunt. Rifles, suppressors and ammunition are evaluated as one integrated field system—not as isolated products.
Our setups have been researched, tested and refined through practical use. The objective is straightforward: to give each guest a rifle that carries naturally, handles predictably and performs consistently when conditions are difficult and the opportunity is brief.
Every component must contribute to repeatable, predictable performance.
Equipment must continue to function through cold, moisture, distance and hard use.
Weight, balance, handling and recoil matter during long days in real terrain.
The rifle, suppressor and ammunition must perform as a complete system.
The core equipment
Each guest is matched with the setup best suited to personal preference, hunt type, terrain and expected conditions.
Blaser
The R8 is our versatile choice for guests who prefer the familiarity and capacity of a bolt-action rifle. Its modular architecture allows the setup to be adapted to the hunt while maintaining a consistent handling concept.
Blaser
The K95 is selected for the hunter who values simplicity, low weight and deliberate precision. Its compact single-shot format is particularly well suited to physically demanding hunts where every gram is carried and every shot is considered.
Svemko
Our rental rifles are fitted with suppressors from Svemko. They were chosen for the combination of low weight, effective suppression and durability—qualities that support better balance, reduced recoil and greater shooting comfort without unnecessary bulk.
THAC Bullets
Our ammunition is developed around bullets from THAC. The final load and calibre are selected for the rifle and quarry, with emphasis on accuracy, consistent external ballistics and dependable terminal performance.
Prepared around the guest
Guests may request the Blaser R8 or K95. Final allocation is confirmed by Baryonyx after evaluating the hunt, terrain, calibre requirements, individual experience and all applicable permits.
We establish experience level, handedness, rifle preference and relevant physical considerations.
The guide team considers quarry, expected distance, weather, carrying distance and shooting positions.
The complete system is assembled and checked as one unit—not as separate components.
The guest confirms the rifle at the range before hunting. Controls, safety procedures and field handling are reviewed with the guide.
